One of the unparalleled aspects of higher education is that we are shaping the next generation of leaders who are already shaping the world. Students inspire us everyday. One such young person is Fildaross Swai, a recent graduate from Westminster College. Before she even graduated, Swai had already founded a non-profit to provide meals to individuals in her native Tanzania.
“I aspire to develop a school feeding program for Tanzanian public schools through the construction of central kitchens, in collaboration with the government and various education and nutrition stakeholders, to end classroom hunger,” Swai told our friends at Westminster College. “I envision a world where every child, regardless of their background, has the right to access food while pursuing their education.” Read Swai’s entire story here.
