Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Colleges (LVAIC) invites nominations and applications for the position of Executive Director. The Association was founded in 1969 to facilitate collaborations among the six private higher education institutions of the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania: Cedar Crest College, DeSales University, Lafayette College, Lehigh University, Moravian University, and Muhlenberg College. In recent years, LVAIC has facilitated new academic collaborations, expanded shared administrative and business opportunities, and initiated cross college sustainability planning.
The Executive Director of LVAIC will lead the implementation of a new strategic plan and foster collaborative opportunities across a range of academic, administrative, and student-focused programs and projects. The Executive Director works closely with the presidents of each institution. Additionally, the Executive Director works with LVAIC senior administrators, faculty, staff, and students to support ongoing collaborations as well as seek new opportunities for programs, projects, and financial resources.
