Muskingum University, a private university in New Concord, Ohio, is accepting nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Finance and Operations. Reporting to the President, the Vice President is a strategic advisor and member of the President’s Senior Leadership Team.
As the university’s Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, the Vice President aligns financial and operational strategies with the university’s vision, mission, and strategic plan. The Vice President optimizes the university’s assets to promote student access and success, with a focus on inclusion, innovation and effectiveness. Supported by strong department leaders, the Vice President provides vision, oversight, and stewardship for financial services, information technology, physical plant and facilities, campus safety, institutional research, and human resources and risk management. In addition, the Vice President is the university’s liaison for auxiliary services, including food service and the bookstore and provides support to the Board of Trustees’ University Capacity Committee.
