Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs (Provost/VPAA)
Culver-Stockton College (www.culver.edu), a residential, liberal arts college in Canton, Missouri, invites nominations and applications for the position of Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs (Provost/VPAA). Reporting to the President, the Provost/VPAA will supervise and evaluate the academic program of the College, supervise the administration of the policies of the faculty and its committees, and make recommendations to the President on faculty personnel matters, including recruitment, evaluation, promotion, and tenure.
The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate, broad teaching experience, demonstrated scholarship, success in leadership, and a firm commitment to student-centered education. Prior experience in leadership roles at a small, private institution of higher education is strongly preferred.
Founded in 1853 by members of the Disciples of Christ Church, Culver-Stockton College has more than 160 years of educational and historical experience – surviving the Civil War and Great Depression, promoting social equality, and incorporating technological advances – always reaching new levels of excellence.
