Defiance College announces the search for a Vice President for Finance & Administration (VPFA) and invites applications and nominations for the position. The strongest applicants for the position will be energetic, innovative, collaborative, and strategic leaders.

Reporting directly to the President, the VPFA will serve on the President’s Cabinet and work collaboratively with senior administrators, the Board of Trustees, and the entire campus community to provide responsible stewardship of the College resources. The VPFA will be responsible for leading and strategically managing all areas of finance, accounting, payroll, student accounts, and physical plant, and shall direct and supervise the Controller, Director of Physical Plant, and the Director of Human Resources. The VPFA also provides leadership for the planning and direction of the College’s computer and information services’ needs.

The Vice President for Finance & Administration will have a history of leading and managing multiple aspects of a senior level position and possess an established record of employing a strong analytical focus to make data-informed decisions. The new VPFA will have a Master’s Degree and ten years of progressively responsible and successful administrative expertise in financial management.
